During the outbreak of the COVID pandemic in 2020, Jamie and Kelley Murphy started selling barbecue to support their family’s ministry in the Carolinas. Their homemade sauce was a hit with friends and family, and the demand for it helped to support their non-profit ministry, The Proactive Parenting Initiative (PPI) (www.proactiveparents.org).

PPI conducts parenting conferences, workshops, and seminars, and the only weekend, Christian, behavior modification camp in the Carolinas for parents and their at-risk kids. Proceeds from the sale of Southern Fusion Sauces help to support this ministry.

In the summer of 2023 the Murphys partnered with two-time Bassmaster Classic champion, Hank Parker, who was an instant fan of Southern Fusion Sauces. We are excited for the opportunities that our partnership will bring as we introduce the world to “Hank Parker’s Southern Fusion Barbecue Sauces.”
